Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day assigned functions as SME for teammates on inquiries and challenges.
  • Coordinates and optimizes daily work to meet turnaround times and KPIs.
  • Supports leadership with policy reviews and workflow improvements for quality and efficiency.
  • Facilitates resolution of internal/external complaints, ensuring regulatory adherence.
  • Documents quality reviews and provides timely feedback, with retraining as needed.
  • Partners with IT for software testing and upgrades and issues resolution.
  • Collaborates with Leadership, Risk Management, Legal and other departments to address questions.

Pay Range:

$25.30 - $37.95

Major Responsibilities:

Performs theday-to-dayassigned functions, acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert for teammates on work-related inquiries and challenges. Proactively addresses and resolves issues, providing innovative solutions. Collaborates with leadership to conduct huddles,facilitateorientation, deliver training, perform quality assessments, and generate production reports. Utilizes effective communication and critical thinking skills toidentify, address and elevate issues toleadershipas necessary.

Coordinates, monitors, andoptimizesdaily work activities to support the team in meetingestablisheddaily turnaround times and key performance indicators.

Supports leadership by conducting comprehensive reviews of policies and procedures and recommending workflow improvements to enhance quality, consistency, efficiency, and standardization.

Facilitates the resolution of both internal and external complaints and concerns while ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements.

Performs documentation andtracking ofquality reviews. Providestimelyfeedback toleaderandteammate, providingadditionaleducation and retraining as needed.Makescorrections according to department procedures.

Partners with information technologyfor softwaretesting and upgrades. Troubleshoots computer system issues, collaborates with optimization tosubmitrequests for enhancements.

Collaborates with Leadership, Risk Management, Legal and otherappropriate departmentsto respond to questions and/orissues.

Minimum Job Requirements
Education

High Schooldegreerequired.Health Information Management or related field

Certification / Registration / License
Experience

3year's experiencein a healthcare settingrequired, typically within HIM, compliance,qualityor clinical settings.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Abilityto work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision using critical thinking skills, whilemaintainingquality and productivity standards.

Proficient computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to adapt to and accurately work withnew technologyand artificial intelligence.

Ability to read andcomprehendmedical terminology, human anatomy, and disease processes, and/or state and federal regulations related to HIPAA and release of medical information.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This positionmayrequire travel, therefore,willbe exposed to weather and road conditions.

Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
