Job summary

College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy seeks an experienced HIM supervisor to oversee chart completion, documentation follow-up, and missing report queues in compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires a BS in Health Information Management (or related field) and RHIA/RHIT/AHIMA eligibility, with at least two years of management experience, including acute care HIM oversight.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited university with a BS degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• RHIA, RHIT or AHIMA credentials/eligibility required.
• Two years management experience including at least one year of acute care HIM experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises documentation analysts, specialists, and physician workroom to team include staffing, training, quality control and management oversight for assigned functions and HIM workflow.
• Directly responsible for managing documentation follow-up and missing report queues to ensure chart documentation is accurate and completed within regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management

Associate’s HIM degree considered with experience
