Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians is seeking an HIM Document Imaging Coordinator to ensure patient health information is stored accurately and securely. You will identify and label documents and prepare them for electronic conversion and scanning into the EHR.

You will stay current with HIPAA privacy policies and log requests in the Release of Information system, coordinating with the HIM Operations team in Junction Building HQ.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Job Summary:
As a Health Information Management (HIM) Document Imaging Coordinator, you ensure all patient health information is stored accurately.

You will make sure medical record documents are correctly identified and labeled and prepare the documents for electronic conversion and scanning into the Electronic Health Record.

In this role, you will remain current with HIPAA privacy policies and log requests, request status and information released into the electronic Release of Information system.
