Job summary

The ideal candidate holds RHIT certification, 2+ years in healthcare (preferably inpatient rehab), and strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RHIT certification required.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience, inpatient rehab preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accuracy, completeness and security of patient health information.
• Assist in coding and billing processes with proper documentation.
• Generate reports on HIM metrics and prepare regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with corporate support on credentialing workflows and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CIHQ standards.
