Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical science, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience with coding software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code all records according to coding classifications.
• Provide interdepartmental coding assistance as needed.
• Facilitate optimization of revenue while maintaining compliance standards.

Skills

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM

Ability to perform computer data entry

Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
