Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks an experienced electrical/controls engineer for HIL bench commissioning and end-to-end harness development for vehicle applications. The role involves configuring dSPACE pins, working with ADC/DAC, and updating Matlab models for reliability and performance.

You will measure currents and voltages with multimeters and oscilloscopes, and collaborate on power electronics and automotive network topics (CAN/LIN/Ethernet).

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Bachelor's degree or 3+ years and Master's degree.
• Basic knowledge of electrical & electronics circuits and components.
• Ability to study & understand electrical & electronic schematic & layout.
• Exposure to electrical test equipment including but not limited to power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers etc.
• Exposure to automation in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to be flexible and responsive.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• HIL Bench commissioning
• End to End Creation and Validation of Vehicle specific harnesses
• Configuration of dSPACE I/O Pins, FIU Pins and ADC and DAC pins etc.
• Configuration desk update based on dSPACE multiple boards.
• Usage of Current and Voltage measuring and monitoring equipment's like Multimeter, Oscilloscope
• Understand and Update the Matlab Models based on requirements.
• Good understanding of the working of Sensors, Solenoid, Relays, Switches and other kind of loads.
