  • Partner closely with Controls Architecture, BMS Hardware, BMS Software, Software Testing, and Power Conversion teams, as well as HIL technical experts, to align HIL system capability with development needs

  • Expand and mature MIL/SIL/PIL testing methods to accelerate system validation

  • Evaluate and recommend toolchains and processes that meet current and future software development and testing needs across global engineering sites

  • Lead the technical interface between global engineering teams on software toolset development, establishing robust processes for information sharing and status reporting

  • Own budgeting and procurement coordination for hardware and software required for BMS HIL, Power HIL, and high-voltage simulation systems

  • Maintain complete documentation for HIL system designs and toolsets owned by the team

  • Support the BMS validation team to ensure on-time, high-quality software validation

Qualifications

In this position...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • 8+ years of software and systems development experience, with strong familiarity across software specification, development, and validation, including HIL systems

  • Working knowledge of power conversion components (DC/DC converters, chargers, DCFC communication)

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and validation toolchains

  • Proven leadership experience working across distributed or global engineering teams, with strong ability to bridge gaps and resolve integration challenges

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
