Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan is seeking a Controls Engineer for a hybrid role, combining home and on-site work. You will define and implement HIL interfaces to ECUs and sensor hardware, and develop Matlab/Simulink models for interfacing to HIL systems.

You will create and execute HIL test plans, collect and analyze test data, and document results while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering and 3 years' experience with HIL,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Electronics Engineering or related field; 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop systems, Electronics Lab Equipment, and test reporting.
Experience with Matlab/Simulink, dSPACE tools, CANoe/CANalyzer/Vehicle Spy, ECU-Test, and software scripting in Python, Matlab or similar.

Responsibilities

Define and implement HIL interfaces to ECUs and sensor/actuator hardware.
Design, implement, validate and document Matlab/Simulink models for HIL integration.
Create and execute HIL test plans; collect, process and analyze test data and produce reports.
