Westwood Periodontics PC is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our all-female periodontal team in Westwood, NJ. This part-time role focuses on periodontal maintenance, patient education, and collaborative care with our board-certified periodontist.

We value precise charting, X-ray procedures, infection control, and a patient-centered approach. Hours are flexible with no nights, Fridays, or weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing.
• Prior periodontal experience preferred.
• Proficient with Dentrix management software.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control.
• Strong understanding of dental and periodontal anatomy and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal maintenance for patients.

• Take annual or follow-up X-Rays as needed.

Dental Hygienist – Join Our Exceptional All-Female Periodontal Team

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our well-established periodontal practice. Our office is led by a Board-Certified Periodontist who is dedicated to providing the highest standard of periodontal care while helping patients achieve healthier smiles and improved overall oral health.

Responsibilities:

• Perform periodontal maintenance for patients
• Conduct periodontal assessments including charting, probing, etc.
• Take annual or follow-up X-Rays when necessary
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques to better oral health
• Thorough knowledge of maintaining infection control, sterilization, and OSHA compliance standards.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, team orientated environment

Experience:

• Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing with knowledge of HIPPA regulations
• Previous periodontal experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Dentrix management software
• Knowledge of dental and periodontal anatomy, terminology and treatment protocol.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $53.00 per hour

Schedule: No nights, Fridays or Weekends.
