The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in highway/roadway design. Proficiency in MicroStation and EIT certification are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of highway/roadway design experience required.
• Familiarity with MDOT projects is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles in highway/roadway design.
• Prepare project documents independently.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Perform engineering calculations and create cost estimates.
