Job summary

Faygo Beverages, Inc. is seeking a Highway OTR Driver to ensure the safe delivery of products to customers across routes, including occasional Canada deliveries. The role demands physical lifting up to 44 pounds, pallet jack operation, and long driving shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of OTR driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor and trailer safely and efficiently.
• Must be licensed to operate an electric pallet jack.
• Must be able to lift up to 44 pounds.
• Restack tipped pallets as needed.
• Drive for up to 11 hours consecutively; work up to 14 hours in 24 hours.
• Verify case quantities and addresses with the bill of lading.
• Report available hours to dispatch by 1 pm daily.
• Report delays to dispatch and customers.
• Drop and hook trailers at yards and customer locations.
• Perform city work including deliveries to Canada.
• Fill out DVIR daily and report needed repairs.
• Operate a standard lift gate safely.
• Crank dollies legs up/down on trailers.
• Release the 5th wheel to the coupling system.
• Open and close trailer doors.

Highway OTR Driver

As a Highway OTR Driver for Faygo Beverages, Inc., your primary responsibility would be to ensure the safe delivery of our product and our affiliates to each of our customers. This is a physically demanding position that requires you to handle up to 44lbs at a time by stacking it on a handcart or electric pallet jack and wheeling it into the various stores.

Responsibilities:

• To operate a tractor and trailer safely and efficiently.


• Must be licensed to operate an electric pallet jack.


• Must be able to lift up to 44 pounds.


• Must be able to restack a tipped pallet.


• Must be able to drive 11 hours consecutively and work 14 hours in a 24-hour period.


• Ensure each customer is receiving the proper product by verifying case quantities and customer address with the bill of lading.


• Report to dispatch available hours by 1 pm daily.


• Report any delays to dispatch and customer.


• Drop and hook trailers in yard and at off-site customer locations.


• Perform city work when required which includes switching, shuttling and deliveries to Canada.


• Fill out DVIR daily and report any needed repairs to the supervisor.


• Operate a standard lift gate safely.


• Crank dollies legs up and down on trailers.


• Ability to release the 5th arm to the coupling system.


• Open and close trailer doors.

Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or GED.


• Ability to work flexible schedule.


• Must have good driving record.


• Must have 1 year of driving experience OTR.
