Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a range of highway maintenance tasks under close supervision. The role involves training in routine maintenance for roadways and storm-related duties.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license with 3+ years of clean driving, and be able to work in adverse weather. DCS offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career development in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift moderately heavy objects.
• Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.
• Accurate eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season display.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and clearing brush from roadsides.
• Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Fence and sign repair.
• Litter and debris removal.
• Emergency response.
• Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.

• Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to conduct a variety of Highway Maintenance Services, as well as other related tasks under close supervision. We are seeking a qualified applicant that will train in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance.
