CDOT in Dillon, CO is seeking a Highway Maintenance Specialist with a Colorado Class A or B CDL. You will perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks essential to keeping roadways safe, including snow plowing, equipment operation, and debris removal.

The position offers substantial benefits, a housing stipend, and opportunities for overtime during weather emergencies. The total annual compensation is $77,940, comprising a $53,940 base pay and a $24,000 housing stipend, with a biweekly pay

Responsibilities

• Plowing snow
• Operating heavy equipment (e.g., tandem dump truck, loader, tractor mower)
• Mowing grass and weeds
• Removing debris from roadways and culverts
• Shoveling gravel, sand, concrete, asphalt
• Setting out signs and cones for traffic control
• Maintaining equipment and performing minor repairs
• Following safety guidance and wearing proper safety equipment
