Modjeski and Masters, Inc. Orlando, FL offices seek a Senior Highway Engineer with 10+ years of FDOT experience.

You will lead transportation projects, mentor junior staff, and manage multi‑discipline teams from concept through final design using OpenRoad Designer and MicroStation. Florida PE registration is required; strong client relationships with FDOT districts and knowledge of AASHTO/Florida Design Manual are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Highway/Transportation Design from ABET‑accredited program.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
• 10+ years of FDOT highway project experience.
• Experience managing multi‑discipline projects including bridges and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and leadership guidance for transportation engineers.
• Maintain and grow FDOT/local agency client relationships.
• Prepare proposals and participate in marketing presentations.
• Manage multiple projects within budget and schedule.
• Perform roadway design tasks using Open Road Designer from concept to final deliverable.
