Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Interest in working on multiple highway projects simultaneously, with mentorship

Responsibilities

• Determine methods and solutions for highway engineering problems, selecting efficient, economical approaches
• Ensure designs meet Federal, State and local requirements and industry practices
• Provide specs, estimations, quantity calculations, reports, and analyses
• Review supplier drawings and perform technical bid analyses
• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and construction documents
• Support a project or design team on small to large scale highway projects
