Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university curriculum.
• Ability to perform highway design computations and prepare plans.

Mansioni

• Designs projects including bridge replacements and resurfacing and prepares reports and environmental statements.
• Determines highway design features, geometrics, standards, profiles, earthwork quantities, and traffic control using CADD and other engineering software.
• Assists in development and review of detailed plans for complex projects ensuring compliance with standards, policies and specs.
• Computes quantities and estimates costs for projects from preliminary to final stages for short- and long-term plans.
• In conjunction with a Professional Land Surveyor, handles land plotting on plans and establishes easements.
