About the Position

STV has openings in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, or Lawrenceville, NJ, for a Highway Engineer to join our Transportation and Infrastructure Division.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in highway design, including highway geometrics, roadway modeling, cross section development, traffic control, signing, pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development. Responsibilities include designing and reviewing all phases of highway plan development for various transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist/lead team members in collaborating with transportation agencies throughout PA and NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5-10 years of progressive highway engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to scope work and prepare estimates for highway engineering tasks.
• Quality control oversight for highway engineering tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Experience with PennDOT and other transportation agencies.
• Familiarity with AASHTO design standards.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, and Microsoft Office; Open Roads experience is a plus.

Compensation Range

$100,226.48 - $133,635.31
