Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Foreman/Superintendent to supervise skilled trades crews on large Heavy Highway, roadway, and bridge projects. You will focus on safety, production, and profitability while coordinating with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers.

Responsibilities include leading foremen, planning schedules, controlling costs, arranging manpower and equipment, and coordinating subcontractors to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks as a Journeyman to a Foreman to a Superintendent.
• 6+ years similar construction Field Management experience.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred and a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Foreman on conducting work safely, productively, and focusing on quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews.
• Assists the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with your work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
