Job summary

Aspen Snowmass is seeking a Highlands/Buttermilk Shuttle Driver for the Winter 26-27 season. This full-time seasonal role involves safe, timely transportation of guests, luggage handling, and assistance with on-mountain operations.

You will coordinate with the Concierge Desk and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. Ideal candidates bring knowledge of local roads, strong communication, and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with basic vehicle safety checks and reporting issues.
  • Strong communication with guests, coworkers and management.
  • Excellent time management to follow schedules in winter operations.
  • Ability to operate vans and shuttles safely and responsibly.

  • Situational awareness for safe decisions in varying weather.
  • Basic computer or mobile device skills for logging mileage.
  • Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility and teamwork to support transportation needs.

Responsibilities

  • Transport guests to and from designated local locations as scheduled.
  • Coordinate transportation requests with Concierge and departments.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions during transport.
  • Assist with luggage loading/unloading and tagging process.
  • Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and perform routine checks.
  • Report mechanical issues promptly to the Guest Services Manager.
  • Transport supplies and interdepartmental packages as requested.
  • Assist in coordinating staff transportation for shifts and events.
  • Work with other departments to meet transport needs efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Driver supports operations by providing safe, timely, and professional transportation services for guests, team members, and materials. Responsibilities include transporting guests to local destinations, completing scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs, assisting with luggage and deliveries, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality ofcompanyvehicles. This role plays an important part in delivering a smooth and welcoming experience while also supporting internal logistical needs.The position reports directlyto (insert hiring manager).

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
  • Transport guests to and from designated local locations as scheduled by the Concierge Desk
  • Coordinate transportation requests and updates with the Concierge and other relevant departments
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events during transport whenappropriate
  • Assistwith loading and unloading luggage, following established procedures for tagging and tracking
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle at all times; wash exterior and clean interior as needed
  • Complete routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checklists;monitorfluid levels and tire pressure
  • Report any mechanical issues, damage, or incidents promptly to the Guest Services Manager
  • Support hotel operations by transporting supplies, equipment, and interdepartmental packages asrequested
  • Assistin coordinating and executing staff transportation needs for shifts, events, or off-site training
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to fulfill operational transport needs ina timelyand efficient manner
  • Other duties as assigned for all roles
Education & Experience Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of local area including roads, traffic patterns, airports, and key points of interest
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures to perform basic safety checks and report issues promptly
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management
  • Excellent time management to follow schedules and respond to last-minute transportation needs efficiently
  • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles safely and responsibly, including vans and shuttles
  • Customer service orientation with a friendly, helpful attitude and a focus on creating a positive experience
  • Situational awareness and sound judgment for making safe decisions in changing traffic or weather conditions
  • Basic computer or mobile device skills for logging mileage, completing checklists, or using dispatch systems
  • Dependability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and teamwork with the ability to support other departments and adapt to shifting priorities
Workenvironment and physical demands
  • Ability toreach, crouch, kneel,stand, bendorbe on your feetfor extended periods of time
  • Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elementsand may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Must be able tofrequencylift, push or pullup to50 lbs. individually or with assistance
