Job summary

Whataburger Restaurants is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead a high-volume store with 4M+ annual sales and a team of more than fifty family members. You will oversee daily operations and drive excellence in food, service, and hospitality.

This role emphasizes coaching, development, and accountability across sales, labor, food cost, and safety. You will rotate through Customer, Quality, and People areas, partnering with leadership to meet goals and grow into future operating opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, holidays; reliable attendance.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain during training.
• Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance in home state.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service by creating friendly, fast experiences.
• Coach, develop, and support team members to their full potential.
• Achieve restaurant goals across sales, labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Ensure food safety, workplace safety, and brand standards are upheld.

• Lead shift transitions and smooth operations across day parts.
