Job summary

CORE Linen Services in New York is seeking a front-line production team member to support a high-capacity commercial laundry plant and meet customer needs. The role spans dryer, wash, stain washer, sewing/mending, soil sorting, folding, and packing.

You will maintain linen flow, load and process laundry activities, monitor load sizes, and follow safety precautions to help meet hourly production standards. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains flow of linen into the tunnel, washers, dryers, etc.
• Pulls bags and/or processes other laundry activities in the designated order.
• Loads linen into empty pockets in tunnel; continues to do so as pockets transfer.
• Keeps pockets loaded correctly with proper load size; prevents overload.
• Follow directions and safety precautions.
• Maintains the production standards as determined per hour.
• Notifies supervisor if frequent technical problems are impacting the ability to meet production standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
