Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-volume, physician-led group. The role includes hospital, clinic, and OBL/ASC procedures with dedicated APC support and a strong referral network.

You will have opportunities for long-term equity through partnership, collaboration with a large vascular team, and access to advanced technologies in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
• High-volume practice with established patient and referral base.
• Ability to perform both coronary and peripheral interventions.
• Access to OBL/ASC procedural settings.
• Opportunity for partnership/equity.
• Commitment to patient-centered, collaborative care.
• Residency completed in the U.S.
• Louisiana medical licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Interventional schedule includes hospital, clinic, and procedures in OBL/ASC settings.
• Provide coronary and peripheral interventions as part of a high-volume practice.
• Collaborate with APCs in a physician-led environment.
• Participate in a multi-site cardiovascular program and mentorship.
