PeopleReady in Miramar Beach, FL is hiring a Grill Cook to prepare meals in a high-volume kitchen, sauting, grilling, frying, and following food safety guidelines. You will chop, slice, wash produce, assemble salads and desserts, and assist with catering orders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a high-volume institutional environment.
• Good knife skills and knowledge of food preparation.
• Able to work all areas of the kitchen.
• Stand in kitchen environment for long periods of time.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in a large volume establishment.
• Saute, grill, fry, and cook ingredients according to food safety guidelines.
• Chop, slice, and wash fruits and vegetables.
• Make salads, desserts, and complete meals.
• May create menus and follow recipes.
• Assist with catering orders and prepare trays for customers.
• Clean the kitchen area, take out trash, mop floors and wipe down the dining area when needed.
