Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts Private Fleet in Dallas, TX is seeking a motivated forklift operator for a fast-paced dock environment. You will transport freight to/from inbound and outbound trailers, using stacking and bracing to maximize load efficiency and meet company targets.

Responsibilities include safe operation of sit-down/stand-up forklifts, daily equipment checks, and ensuring shipments are accurate and undamaged. The role requires adherence to OSHA and DOT standards and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a forklift.
• Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts is a plus.
• Forklift certification is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Move palletized shipments and load trailers to maximize trailer utilization.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Operate forklift safely; mount/dismount continuously during shifts.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
• Keep trailers and dock area clean and organized; comply with OSHA and DOT standards.
