Job summary

Unidine is hiring immediately for a full time COOK position at Homestead Village, Lancaster, PA. The role requires 1 year of prior commercial cooking and high-volume experience, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, including rotating weekends.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Benefits include a free shift meal and being part of a team at a leading hospitality company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior commercial or institutional cooking and high volume experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and appealing.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safe food-handling procedures.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation and portion control; follows HACCP standards.
