Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe is seeking a Bartender to deliver authentic, high-energy hospitality and top-notch customer service at our bar. You will craft drinks to spec, handle payments, maintain bar stock, and ensure a clean, safe, and lively bar environment that enhances the guest experience.

Requirements include at least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience, adherence to responsible alcohol service, and familiarity with food safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience required.
• Some U.S. states require a food safety certification before serving food or alcohol (California law may require a food handlers card).
• Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make drinks to specification and demonstrate responsible alcohol service.
• Serve food and handle cash and other forms of payment.
• Use a POS system for sales transactions and maintain accurate cash drawers.
• Check IDs for guests who appear under 30 years old.
• Maintain bar stock, labeling, dating and refrigeration of items.
• Set up and close the bar, clean and organize work areas.
• Provide hospitality to create memorable guest experiences.
