Job summary

CPI Electron Device Business, Inc. seeks a Transformer Winding Technician to fabricate high-voltage coils for electrical equipment.

You will set up and operate manual winding machinery, manage insulation and sealing processes, and work with engineering teams to ensure designs meet strict quality and safety standards. The role requires experience with winding machinery, reading complex electrical drawings, and precise measurement using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manual coil winding machinery in manufacturing or repair.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficiency using mechanical measuring devices to verify coil dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual winding machines and load equipment.
• Prepare and form wire leads and apply insulation.
• Perform mechanical sub-assembly and ensure components meet design and safety specs.
• Collaborate with engineering and test technicians and perform other duties as needed.
