• Works independently on a campus, reporting to a supervisor, or guides Electrician/Maintenance Mechanics in electrical and mechanical duties.
• Responsible for estimating work and procuring materials.
• May perform duties of the group or in other trades.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational education or equivalent.
• Qualified journeyman electrician registered with the State of New Jersey or completed a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Valid driver's license with 2 years driving experience; may need to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
• Good communication skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; read technical manuals and blueprints.

Additional Requirements

• Experience with high voltage electrical systems (>2000 volts).
• Shift hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Clean driving record.
