YOUR IMPACT

As a High Voltage Electrician - Lineman, you will keep the lights on and the power flowing by repairing, maintaining, and installing electric systems, components, and equipment. You will service overhead and underground parts while strictly following safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborating with project managers and tradespeople, you will strive to complete projects on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities include inspecting systems, diagnosing issues, and documenting work. You will use various tools to splice, terminate, and test cables and equipment, as well as service electric substations and other components. Your efforts will have a significant impact on our clients and our company!

REQUIREMENTS

• Journeyman lineman and high-voltage certification
• 4+ years of experience as a high voltage electrician, including apprenticeship
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to move heavy objects, work in all weather conditions, and at heights or in confined spaces
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS

• Michigan journeyman license
• Experience with overhead and underground lines, substations, and related equipment
