Job summary

Pearce is seeking a skilled Medium-Voltage / High-Voltage Electrical Technician to support the operation and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure within data center environments across the United States. This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and performance of electrical distribution systems powering mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Technical training, certification, or equivalent experience in electrical systems.
• Experience with medium-voltage and/or high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Lockout/tagout safety knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a mission-critical operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of medium- and high-voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on electrical distribution infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and support root-cause analysis of power system issues.
• Conduct operational testing and verification of electrical equipment and systems.
• Assist with switching operations and outage planning in accordance with established procedures and qualifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, test reports, and operational documentation.
• Support system reliability, uptime objectives, and critical facility operations.
• Follow all electrical safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
