Job summary

MAC.BID in Warren, OH is seeking an HVS inspector who tests and inspects high-value electronics to assess condition before uploading items for auction. You will verify item condition, scan items into the system, and ensure accurate product information in our proprietary auction portal, under supervision of the Scan Team Lead.

This on-site role runs Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates should be tech-savvy, trustworthy, and able to sit, stand, and walk for hours, following written directions.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The HVS role tests and inspects items of higher value, such as iPads, smart watches, and cell phones, to assess their condition before uploading them for auction. This role uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test electronics
• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
• Must be tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot
• Must have a high level of integrity
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
