Job summary
Syngenta Seeds Field Crops is seeking a scientific leader to advance high-throughput lead production for Trait Discovery, focusing on molecular biology and protein production while supporting plant-based sample generation. The role drives development, execution, and scaling of workflows with emphasis on reliability, documentation, and quality, while collaborating across teams.
You will guide experimental design, data interpretation, and continuous improvement, maintaining thorough ELN/LIMS
Qualifications
- Experience in high-throughput sample-production workflows including purification and QC.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, and optimize high-throughput workflows.
- Proficiency in molecular cloning, nucleic acid prep, PCR, and associated QC.
Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize high-throughput protein-production workflows (preparation, expression, purification, QC, sample tracking).
- Identify and resolve complex workflow issues; implement process improvements and monitor throughput/quality.
- Lead high-throughput molecular biology tasks: cloning, nucleic acid prep, PCR, construct processing, QC.
