Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in West Point, PA is seeking a High-Throughput Process Development Scientist to execute HTDP experiments with BSL-1/2 agents and viruses, operate and maintain lab automation (Tecan, Hamilton), and perform analytical testing to support development. The candidate will prepare reagents, analyze data, and ensure GMP-compliant records while working independently.

A B.S. in biology or related field and 1 year lab experience are required, along with automation

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biology, Cell Biology, Bio/chemical Engineering or related science.
• One year of general lab experience.
• Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems, including coding/scripting.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-throughput process development (HTPD) experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 agents and viruses.
• Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment (Tecan, Hamilton) to support HTPD screening experiments.
• Perform analytical testing (cell-based assays, biochemical testing, HPLC) to support HTPD experiments and develop new assays as needed.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions and culture media.
• Analyze, collate, track, and report data to client staff.
• Maintain records and test results following GMP.
• Work independently and efficiently; document work clearly and test accurately.
