Job summary

TRUCKING PEOPLE in Irving, TX is seeking a Fleet Maintenance & Detailing Associate to keep a high-tech vehicle fleet road ready. You will wash, detail, inspect cameras and sensors, and perform basic maintenance to ensure vehicles are ready for daily operations.

This full-time role offers a 1-year contract, an hourly pay rate of $20.00–$23.00, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience with advanced vehicle technology.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (held for at least 3 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automotive detailing, porter services, car washing, fleet maintenance, or light mechanical work preferred.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and fleet tracking.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and safety-focused.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail vehicles inside and out
• Clean and inspect vehicle cameras and sensors
• Charge vehicles and verify system connectivity
• Perform basic vehicle inspections including: Tire pressure, Fluid levels, Lights, Windshield wipers
• Complete minor maintenance tasks such as replacing wiper blades and topping off fluids
• Move vehicles throughout the facility and charging areas
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records
• Report maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
