Job summary

DCG ONE in Maryland is seeking an Inserter Operator for a Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm shift. The role sets up and monitors high-speed inserting equipment, handling various job specifications and ensuring USPS compliance.

You will operate Pitney Bowes FPS inserting system and inline inkjet, read job tickets, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot issues on the production floor. Lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for 8 hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with USPS mailing requirements for letters, flats, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Review production work orders and communicate with departments to gather information.
• Operate Pitney Bowes FPS inserting system and inline inkjet.
• Set up and change over between job types (A7, #10, 6 x 9, 10 x 13).
• Read job tickets and ensure machine settings meet job requirements.
• Reconcile jobs in online reporting system and monitor USPS compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and notify supervisor of difficulties.
• Train other operators and communicate across shifts.
