Job summary

GCP PAPER USA, Inc. seeks an Industrial Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, inspect, and repair high-speed converting equipment on the production floor.

You will maintain plant power distribution, sensors, motor controls, and automated production systems while ensuring safe operation and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include electrical diagnostics, ladder logic interpretation, preventive maintenance on MCCs and control enclosures, and adherence to LOTO and NFPA 70E safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree preferred.
• Certifications: NFPA 70E electrical safety, or LO/TO certifications preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in industrial electrical/electro-mechanical roles in continuous manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on high-speed production lines.
• Inspect and repair motor controls, VFDs, relays, transformers, and safety switches.
• Read single-line diagrams and ladder logic to diagnose faults quickly.
