Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church, informally known as McBIC, located just outside the borough of Mechanicsburg, is looking for a full-time high school youth pastor. This person will continue the tradition of depth, fun, vulnerability, and safety that characterizes the high school ministry, made up of roughly 50 students.
He or she will work closely with the middle school youth pastor to provide rich discipleship to adolescents. The high school pastor will lead a robust adult volunteer team, ranging from college students to older adults, who mentor and disciple high schoolers. McBIC’s congregation is invested in developing its teenagers and often sees teens leading worship, serving in children’s ministry, and more. The new pastor will join a thriving staff that works together to lead the church as a whole. McBIC is committed to being a place of healing and wholeness for Mechanicsburg and values partnering with outside organizations to serve the broader community.
