Job summary

Nolan Catholic is seeking a Coordinator of High School Youth Ministry to lead evangelization, catechesis, and formation for teens within the parish community. The role directs program development, supervision, and execution of youth ministry activities, partnering with families and parish teams.

You will recruit and train teen and adult volunteers, ensure Safe Environment compliance, and align events with Catholic doctrine.

Qualifications

BA in Theology/Religious Education or related field.
Certificate in ministry or theology from Catholic institution.
At least three years of ministerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Engages an active discipleship process and fosters interior conversion to Christ and His Church.
Coordinates and supervises parish youth ministry programs for high school students.
Develops evangelization and catechetical curriculums across evangelization and catechesis, doctrine, liturgy and sacraments.
Plans and executes youth ministry events and retreats in coordination with parish teams.
Supports families in promoting healthy adolescent development and faith growth.
Ensures compliance with Safe Environment policies and diocesan requirements.
Recruits and trains teen and adult leaders; oversees volunteers and staff.
Maintains budget and collaborates with DEC and business manager.
