Job summary

Southeast Valley Community School District is seeking a part-time High School Wrestling Cheer Sponsor for the upcoming wrestling season. You will lead and support the wrestling cheer program, fostering a positive, team-oriented experience for students.

Responsibilities include organizing practices, teaching cheers and routines, supervising participants, promoting sportsmanship, coordinating with coaches and the Activities Director, and attending scheduled events while upholding district policies.

Qualifications

• Prior cheerleading, coaching, or experience with students preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Reliable and able to attend practices and events.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead wrestling cheer practices and activities.
• Teach and coordinate cheers, routines, and performances for wrestling events.
• Supervise and support student participants.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, school spirit, and positive behavior.
• Coordinate with the wrestling coaching staff and Activities Director regarding schedules and events.
• Attend scheduled practices, wrestling meets, and other required activities.
• Ensure student safety and follow all Southeast Valley CSD activity policies and procedures.
• Serve as a positive role model and representative of Southeast Valley Community School District.
• Perform other duties related to the wrestling cheer program as assigned.

Position Summary

The Wrestling Cheer Sponsor will lead and support the high school wrestling cheer program while providing students with a positive, encouraging, and team-oriented experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead wrestling cheer practices and activities.
• Teach and coordinate cheers, routines, and performances for wrestling events.
• Supervise and support student participants.
• Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, school spirit, and positive behavior.
