Norristown Area High School in Norristown, PA is seeking a part-time High School Wrestling Assistant Coach for the Winter season. This role focuses on leadership, supervision, and organization of the wrestling program, including planning and coaching staff coordination to provide a safe, competitive environment.

The ideal candidate has high school coaching experience (varsity or collegiate level preferred), a valid PA driver's license, and the ability to work in a team with strong communication

Qualificações

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Coaching experience at varsity or collegiate level.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Varsity, JV, and freshman programs to improve player skills and team competitiveness.
• Provide individual and small group instruction related to wrestling fundamentals and build rapport with students and parents.
• Maintain familiarity with PIAA and District eligibility requirements and safety protocols.
• Assist with athletic facilities and equipment needs, including proper fitting of protective gear.
• Collaborate on practice plans and use video analysis for film review sessions.
• Plan and deliver off-season conditioning and summer camp programs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that respects diverse student backgrounds and abilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and comply with relevant regulations.
• Additional duties as assigned.
