Job summary

ROCKFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT #205 in Rockford, IL seeks a Welding Teacher (CIP 48.0508 9-12 GRADE 1.0FTE) to deliver engaging welding instruction and lead students through hands-on activities aligned to state standards.

The role requires an Illinois Teaching License with endorsements, and the successful candidate will plan lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to PLCs while maintaining comprehensive records and a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

• Update and maintain all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies and school regulations.
• Create and maintain a safe learning environment for all students.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with building expectations as well as the district's student code of conduct.
