The East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) seeks a skilled and passionate vocal music coach to support in-class instruction during the regular school day. The coach will work alongside a credentialed teacher at district high schools, supporting beginning, intermediate, and advanced vocal music students.

This role involves preparation and instruction designed to increase student mastery and contribute to high-quality music education for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Experience in voice and vocal pedagogy with rehearsal planning.
• Experience teaching high school students.
• Ability to teach small groups and one-on-one sessions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the choral director to align with program goals.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to enhance technique.
• Foster musical expression and creativity in a culturally responsive environment.
• Support choral classes and multiple site assignments as needed.
