Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of combined Visual Arts experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; NJ certification eligibility required.
• All instructional staff are required to become certified in New Jersey within a reasonable period after beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach all Visual Arts content and implement curricula to meet academic standards.
• Design and implement assessments to measure progress toward standards.
• Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instruction.
• Collaborate on curriculum development, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.
• Provide consistent rewards or consequences for student behavior and ensure mastery of standards.
• Build positive relationships with students and partner with families to support learning.
