Job summary

Brookline High School is seeking an organized Track & Field Assistant Coach to oversee daily team activities for the spring season, ensuring compliance with MIAA policies and school guidelines. This role reports to the Director of Athletics and the head coach.

Responsibilities include scheduling practices, coordinating transportation, maintaining eligibility, distributing equipment, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MIAA Rules and Policies.
• Concussion awareness training certification.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Attend coaches meetings and HR paperwork.
• Plan and supervise daily team activities during the season.
• Coordinate practice and competition scheduling with AD and head coach.
• Ensure eligibility checks and equipment distribution.
• Communicate schedules to families and track attendance.
• Assist with end-of-season closeout and equipment return.
