Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Coach: Track and Field (High School) to support interscholastic athletics programs. This temporary, as-needed pool position may be filled as Head, Assistant, or Volunteer Coach across county high schools.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and ability to work with diverse student populations. CPR/First Aid certifications and coaching licensure per AACPS guidelines are expected; start date is to be determined.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Athletic coaching experience at various levels encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provides a set of training rules/code of conduct to students at season start.
• Determines team personnel and assigns roles.
• Maintains required forms and eligibility rosters prior to contests.
• Collects and reviews necessary forms from student athletes.
• Familiarizes with current medical protocols for interscholastic athletics.
• Knows and enforces state, county and school athletic policies.
