Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: This is a full time teaching position to begin July 29, 2026. Applicants must be certified with a valid History 6-12 teaching certificate and meet the Professional Qualifications for the position.

Qualifications

• Credential: Valid Georgia Credential or license authorizing service in grade levels and areas assigned.
• Education: Bachelor's degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements.
• Experience: Student teaching, internship, or full-time teaching experience.

Terms of Employment

190-day contract. State salary schedule, plus local supplement.
