Options for Youth (OFY) is seeking educators to provide instruction and support for students across a charter region. The role involves grading tests, tutoring, assisting with curriculum materials, and aiding test administration to ensure compliant testing and student success.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree California required.
30-Day Substitute Teaching Credential or CA single subject credential (or clear credential).
Experience with high school students preferred.
Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction to students for a specific charter or region.
Administer and grade tests.
Tutor students who need help as requested by the teacher of record.
Support all state testing by calling, proctoring, and helping.
Assist with locating, preparing, and passing out curriculum materials.
Help audit and correct student files when requested.
Enter student’s work into the student information system.
Help with other activities within the center that support the direct instruction of students.
