Ombudsman Educational Services, a division of ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, seeks a Teacher for grades 9-12 to implement instructional strategies aligned with ChanceLight Education methodologies and Ombudsman policies. You will create lesson plans, use educational software, and tailor instruction to diverse student needs in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain AZ IVP clearance.
• AZ state teaching credential preferred.
• Experience with curriculum development, classroom management, differentiation and instruction.
• Experience with students with IEPs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted instruction using diverse materials and educational software.
• Develop comprehensive daily lesson plans and structured classroom schedules.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to differentiate instruction and accommodations.
• Establish clear behavioral standards and a safe learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support networks.
