Job summary

Roxbury Public Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher for ICR/OCR High School classes at Roxbury High School. This full-time, tenure-track position requires NJDOE Students with Disabilities and a Subject Area certificate, with an OrT certificate also preferred.

Salary follows the REA guide, $58,520–$107,698, with full benefits. Eligible for medical, prescription, and dental benefits; sick, personal, and bereavement leave apply.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Students with Disabilities Certificate-2475 and a subject area certificate.
• ORT Teacher of the Handicapped certificate required.
• Science certification (2210/2270/2220/2240/2260) preferred.
• Secondary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ICR/OCR high school classes at Roxbury High School.
• Implement approved curricula and support inclusive education.
• Collaborate with staff to meet student IEP goals.
