Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide specially designed instruction based on each student's needs and IEP.
• Develop and monitor IEPs in accordance with federal/state requirements.
• Provide instruction in academic, functional, behavioral, communication, social, and independent living skills as appropriate.
• Adapt curriculum and materials to provide meaningful access to instruction.
• Collect data to monitor progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and other required meetings.
• Maintain confidential student records and required documentation.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and needs.
